The cable retractor is used in the oil extraction process, where the submersible electric pumps are located at different depths in the well. The length of the power cable used to power the submersible pump is also different, and the cable moves up and down with the submersible pump during operation.

2. The role of cable retractor
Due to the heavy weight of the power cable of the submersible electric pump, the cable is wound in a steel drum, and mechanical equipment is required to rotate and retract the cable drum during lifting.

3. Composition of cable retractor
The cable retractor is hydraulically driven and consists of a hydraulic station, a transmission, a control valve group, a frame, and a winch shaft. The transmission adopts a radial plunger motor and a planetary reducer integrated, and the clutch function is realized by the guide column. The reversing valve uses a positive and negative positioning handle to control the positive and negative rotation and stop of the cable winch. The speed regulating valve is used to control the speed of the cable winch. The cable winch can be adjusted steplessly in the range of 0-15r / min. The hydraulic system is provided with a bypass circuit to realize the cable drag operation. The control valve group is set near the hydraulic station of the rack and has a protective cover. The transmission device, hydraulic device and electric control box are reinforced with protective steel pipes and can be disassembled.
